Carlton Dennis

Dr. the Rev. Carlton Dennis is 1st Vice President of the Associated Gospel Assemblies (AGA) and Pastor of Bethel Gospel Assembly.  He first became pastor of Bethel in 1980 - 1981 and took up the mantle again in 1990 after leaving to further his education.

He holds the following degrees:

Bachelors: Jamaica Theological Seminary (1976 -1980)
Masters: Gordon Cornwall Theology Seminary [Massachusetts]  (1981 - 1983)
PhD: Drew University, New Jersey (1986 - 1995)

Rev. Dennis has been with the AGA for years and served on the AGA Executive Board since 1995 on different occasions as 1st and 2nd Vice President before his election as President in 2003.  He served as president from 2003 to 2009.

He is the Past Academic Dean of Caribbean Graduate School of Theology and now part time lecturer at the Jamaica Theological Seminary and Caribbean Graduate School of Theology. Rev. Dennis is married to Sharon since December 15, 1979 and they have three (3) children – Alex, Shane and Sharone.
